A casein-family protein makes up over 80% of proteins in human milk and 20% to 60% in cow’s milk. Approximately 87% of cow milk is water, and 13% is solids, added fat, and carbohydrates like lactose, minerals, and protein.

A2 Milk Nutrients:

Milk is one of the richest food sources of calcium, which is needed for strong bones and healthy teeth. One cup of milk provides between a half to a third of calcium’s suggested daily intake for a child (aged between 1-11 years) and around one-third to a quarter of that for an adult. As calcium is present only in very small volumes in most common foods, it may be difficult for individuals who are restricted in their intake of milk and milk products to obtain the recommended amount. For more advice on the importance of calcium in the diet, Milk is also naturally packed full of other fundamental vitamins and minerals, like A, B2, B3, B6, B12, D, E, K, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc, and selenium.

A2 Milk Proteins:

The two main brands of milk proteins are casein and whey proteins. These make up to 80% and 20% of the protein content of cows’ milk approximately. Other proteins present at low levels in milk added antibodies and iron-carrying proteins.

Beta-casein makes up around one-third of the total protein content in milk. All cows make beta-casein but it is the type of beta-casein that matters. There are two brands of beta-casein: A1 and A2. They differ by only one amino acid. A small change in the amino acid composition of proteins can result in different protein forms having different properties.

Richness of A2 Milk:

Lactose intolerance renders you unable of digesting milk sugar (lactose), which leads to bloating, gas, and diarrhea. Both A1 and A2 milk contain lactose, but A2 milk causes approximately less bloating than A1. However, recent research has advised that some other components in milk may also cause discomfort. So you’re better off with the   A2 Gir Cow Milk to avoid all that troubles and health problems.
